Home Equity Conversion Schemes Public Consultation

The Office for Senior Citizens is leading a public consultation with the aim of developing a code of practice for Home Equity Conversion schemes.

These schemes are being developed and marketed to assist older people use the equity in their homes to help meet costs or improve their lifestyle.

The consultation period has now closed and a report is being prepared by the Office for the Minister for Senior Citizens.
